Nazifornia's New Anti Web Gun Regs
As of mid-2008, if unchallenged, California will ominously become the first State in the nation to require specific approval by California DOJ for shipment of any gun by any dealer or private seller, into their State, on a case by case basis.
Insiders at DOJ tell us this is a "direct assault on web sales of guns." It will both end transfers by CA dealers to a large extent, a major present revenue source for CA dealers (some of whom charge up to 6% as well as the State transfer fees), and end the web as a viable selling tool for those outside the State. Our source tells us that DOJ is quietly discussing at least a "6 month backlog" for approvals, as well as keeping "lists" of sellers, FFL's or not, shipping into their State!
Unconstitutional? Hell yes. The beginning of a trend? Hell yes. If more States adopt this Hitlerian policy, there will be soon NO interstate shipments of guns, period. Like moronic Bloomberg in NY, CA now also intends to "prosecute shippers in nearby States." Will they win? Hell no. Will they harass thousands of legit sellers? Hell yes!

Arnold the Kennedynator
Arnold has now shown his true colors as a total pussywhipped Kennedynator in signing the "case marked ammo" bill into law in California for 2010. Essentially, the law states that no ammo can be sold without discreet serial numbers on the case, or a gun that so marks the case. Of course this is impossible, and no gun or ammo manufacturer will ship new products into California after 2010.
Don't argue that Arnold and his Kennedy bride are not closet libs: Swartz could have let the bill go without his signature. Unlike Reagan, who stood his ground against his own radical constituents, Arnold flopped like the woose he's become. Make millions on acting like the tough gun guy, then sign an impossible ammo bill to please vpc? How do you spell hypocrite?! Sure, CA hunters will likely rise up and squash this thing (we hope), and your average South Central Gang Banger is too smart to use case marked ammo anyway, Arnie's target obviously IS law abiding Californians!
